Food Inc
For a documentary film, Food, Inc. shows clear HD footage on Blu Ray. It’s not quite as crisp and detailed as narrative movie footage but it holds up in HD, and it’s about as clear as you want some of this disturbing footage to be.

Of course there is blurry or grainy stock footage. That makes an artistic impact when you cut to the original footage and interviews that are clear and bright. You’re not even looking for that detail in documentary, but the shots are dynamic, moving and fascinating.
It definitely highlights what the filmmakers want you to see. It’s all too clear for the shots of those poor chickens, the cow stomach and the meat filler factory. The graphics are bright and colorful too.
